Our client, based in Herefordshire, are looking for a Licensing Enforcement Officer to undertake licensing and environmental health compliance and enforcement work under current legislation and guidance in relation to hackney carriage and private hire taxi licensing.
You will need good working knowledge of current legislation, government guidance and good practice regarding hackney carriage and private hire while being able to assist and advise in the determination of taxi driver and private hire driver licences where the concerns about an application must be considered. They are looking for an experienced office however if you are a proven technical officer who would quickly pick up taxi licensing then that would also be an option.
You will be offered a 3 months initially but possibly 6 month contract and you will be paid dependent on experience and qualifications.
