As Lead Commissioning Officer you will be expected to take an active role in driving the strategic commissioning process for a range of business and operational services that support the delivery of supported housing services. You will produce action plans, contract management specifications and you will be involved with performance monitoring of contracts.
You will lead more complex analysis work and oversee the planning, procurement, monitoring and evaluation of high value commissioned services for socially excluded groups to include: young people at risk of homelessness, women fleeing domestic abuse, single adults with a substance misuse and/or offending history and teenage parents
Using your wealth of experience in this field you will drive activity around service design and you will work proactively to implement collaborative working procedures. You will work to ensure best value outcomes whilst also working to promote well-being, independence and choice.
This role requires someone with a ‘can-do’ attitude who can make an impact from day one. You will be someone who is able to communicate effectively to implement change and you will be comfortable leading others. You will need extensive experience of children’s services and you will need to be confident in yoru ability to deliver.
The role will be offered for at least 3-6 months and we would expect a rate of £500 per day (inside IR35). Our client is based in South East London but you may be able to do some home working if this suits.
