Our client is a local authority based in South London which is seeking an Interim Programme Lead (Town Centre Investment) to join them for a contract position. They are looking for an individual with extensive Regeneration experience who can take the lead on the delivery of a three prominent development projects within the borough, including an estate regeneration project.
You will lead on the conception, implementation, project management and delivery of projects within this programme of work, providing business support objectives and regeneration partnership. You will also be responsible for commissioning and managing multi-disciplinary consultant teams to support project development and implementation.
To apply you will need to hold a relevant related qualification and have strong programme management and delivery skills across a blended Town Centre regeneration programme. Your proven track record in delivering major regen projects for UK local authorities must be clearly demonstrated on your CV. This role would be suited for a candidate with technical skills in town planning, surveying / a property background.
You will need experience of working within a politically driven organisation operating at a senior level with elected or board members and you will have a strong knowledge of legislation pertaining to businesses, and especially of regeneration. You will need to have excellent communication and engagement skills as you will be responsible for setting out a compelling case for change and detailing a joined-up and impactful public and partner narrative.
This role is inside IR35 and the rate offered is up to £650/day. This is a full time role and our client offers hybrid working with at least 2 days per week based in the office.
The role will initially be offered for 6 months (likely to extend). A JD is available on application.
