Full Description

We have an excellent opportunity for an Infrastructure Planning Manager to take up a role with our local authority client in East London. You will lead, plan, develop and deliver expert infrastructure planning within the Place and Design team. They will have responsibility for infrastructure policy, monitoring and reporting, Section 106 and CIL collection and distribution, a full range of spatial information monitoring duties, and the development of a sustainable GIS service across the council. You will also will manage the team and ensure their ongoing professional development

To be considered you will need a significant amount of town planning related work experience especially in regards to infrastructure, CIL, S106 and GIS and ideally this will have been gained in London. You will need a formal academic qualification such as a town planning degree (or similar) and you will need to have good communication skills and the confidence to take on a role that will require you to engage with a wide range of stakeholders both internally and externally to the Council. You will need good analytical skills and the ability to produce clear and concise report documents that convey complex information in an easily understood format for those who may not be technically grounded in planning related matters.

Initially this will be a 3 month contract and it could be extended beyond this and the rate offered will be £35/hr inside IR35. Please get in touch for further details.
