As Housing Solutions Officer you will serve to provide telephone advice to all customers about housing entitlements, housing solutions and the prevention of homelessness help work to ensure customers can access comprehensive information during office hours and can easily understand their housing options.
On a daily basis you will be required to book appropriate appointments for callers with more complex or pressing need, undertake home visits and maintain accurate customer records using paper and electronic systems.
In order to carry out this role you will need previous experience within a similar role; this will have been gained within a Housing Association or Local Authority housing department. You will need to understand the main principles of laws relating to private sector tenancies and protection from eviction and the provisions of the Housing Act 1996.
The role is based with a local authority in West London and will initially run for 3-6 months. The pay rate will be around £16/hr (umbrella).
