Excellent opportunity to secure an interim assignment with a Local Authority in North London who are looking for a Head of Place Leadership, initially to end of May but possibly beyond pending appointment to a permanent vacancy.
You will oversee 5 teams with a headcount of c40 staff. You will have responsibility to deliver a mixed tenure housing management service to 15,000 tenants and leaseholders. As part of this role you will deal with complex case management to vulnerable residents and you will develop placemaking strategies to improve conditions on estates.
The key duties of the role will include:
- Embedding the new service structure with input from residents to ensure a focussing on areas for improvement
- Ensuring that relevant KPIs are in place to monitor progress and performance.
- Ensuring appropriate training is in place so staff can operate effectively, particularly in respect of using Civica and recording and detailing case notes.
One of the key projects you will focus attention on is developing a framework for client and contract management of cleaning and caretaking, waste management, grounds maintenance and communal repairs.
We are looking for an accomplished senior manager who is comfortable in a lead role and confident that they can hit the ground running. You will need to be a good decision maker who can instil confidence in your team.
Our client is open to negotiation on rate but we would expect no less than £500 per day.
