Our client requires a competent Housing Manager to supervise a Housing Options team divided into 3 sub teams, each with their own Team Leader. Fundamentally you will be required to work to identify team priorities, developing cost effective and innovative team plans and plan the workload of the team. You will be responsible for development and delivery of the Council's Homelessness strategy, including delivery of assistance and advice programmes.
To carry out the role you will need previous experience within a similar capacity. You will need an excellent knowledge of The Housing Act 1996, 2004, and other relevant statutes. You will need to comfortable managing a budget of approximately £1 million per year and income of approximately £0.5 million.
The role is based in Bedford, will run until at least the end of March 2019 and pay around £27/hr (umbrella).
