You will manage your own caseload to ensure that people applying for assistance in resolving a housing problem receive advice about the housing options available to them. You will work to support and homelessness prevention by providing advice on issues such as use of affordability assessments and you will help service users to understand their personalised housing plans and decisions based on the Housing Act 1996.
It is therefore essential that you have good communication skills and a working knowledge of the legislation. Excellent admin skills are required as you will be required to maintain comprehensive, confidential and accurate case records.
The role is based in South East London and will initially run until the end of January. The rate will be £18.49/hr (umbrella).
