Our client, based in Staffordshire, is seeking an experienced Housing Enforcement Lead to provide functional leadership across key housing service areas, including Private Sector Housing (HHSRS, HMO Licensing, Fire Safety in High Rise Dwellings, Asylum Accommodation, and Public Health in Housing), Renters Rights implementation and enforcement, and Housing Strategy including homelessness, temporary accommodation, supported accommodation, and affordable housing. The successful candidate will ensure compliance, maintain high service standards, and deliver expert advice and case resolution across a varied caseload.
This is a 6-month full-time contract offering hybrid working with 2 days working from home and pay rates of up to £40 per hour. The role requires a proactive and knowledgeable professional capable of driving continuous service improvement while supporting operational delivery and regulatory compliance.
Applicants must hold a recognised HHSRS certification and have a minimum of 3 years’ experience within housing enforcement or a related field. Strong knowledge of housing legislation, enforcement procedures, and stakeholder engagement is essential.
