Osborne Richardson have an excellent new opportunity with one of our local authority clients who are seeking a Housing Development Programme Manager them for a contract position within their Housing and Regeneration service.
Overseeing a team 3 Housing Development Officers and working closely with the Head of Housing Supply, you will lead and manage the complex funding arrangements for one of the Council’s top corporate priorities; the delivery and identification of 2,000 new homes, through the Housing Supply Team’s development programme. You will also be responsible for establishing funding availability from multiple sources to identify appropriate schemes for the provision of new housing schemes, including the Council’s largest capital projects.
To apply you will need to hold a relevant related qualification and a proven track record in delivering major housing delivery projects within a Local Authority or Housing Association setting. You will need experience of working within a politically driven organisation operating at a senior level with elected or board members. Proven experience of working with financial appraisal tools is essential.
This role would be suited for a candidate with technical skills in surveying / a property background.
This role will be based in East London and will initially be offered for 5 months, though it could to be extended beyond this. This role is inside IR35 and the rate offered is £345/day.
