Osborne Richardson have an excellent role with a Local Authority in East Anglia who are seeking a Historic Buildings Consultancy Officer to take responsibility for the providing specialist advice on conservation and urban design matters relating to planning applications and to help guide new developments in the borough. Our client needs an officer with proven technical experience of working with listed buildings to work alongside them and provide expert advise and guidance. You will also prepare policy and guidance and deliver projects which manage and enhance our clients important historic and built assets and deliver high quality urban design
Applicants for this post must be passionate about conservation and urban design and hold a post grad qualification in Town Planning. Previous experience of providing specialist conservation and/or urban design advice throughout the planning process, and for different types of applications is essential.
The role is a contract post which will initially be offered as for 6 months though it could be extended The rate offered will be between £30-£35/hr umbrella but there is room to negotiate depending on your experience. Please get in touch for a copy of the job spec and further details.
