Our client based in East London is looking to fill a number of different Health Protection roles to do with the Covid-19 Vaccination within the borough. There are four roles including; Health Protection Shift Supervisor, Health Protection Business Support Officer, Health Protection Response Steward, Health Protection Response Officer.
The duties will vary slightly for each role but ultimately you will be working as part of a dynamic team in providing the public with key information on Covid-19 vaccinations and encourage the public to undertake the vaccine. Some key duties may include but not be limited to:
- Engaging with the public, LBTH staff members and NHS staff members, ensuring a smooth-running clinic is operating.
- Working in various community vaccination settings and local vaccination sites within the borough. Duties will also cover testing and engagement and other Covid hub business needs.
- To support the day-to-day operations of the Infection Prevention and Control and Outbreak Control Managers which includes infections data management recording and producing reports; organising outbreak management meetings, taking, and organising minutes; disseminating updated national guidance and local standard operating procedures on the management of infectious diseases.
- On-site operation of the vaccination site, including delivery of vaccination services, ensuring adherence to health and safety protocol and day-to-day workforce management.
These positions are set for an initial period of 3 months and the pay rates range from £18/hour - £25/hour umbrella depending on the role and your experience.
