Our client, based in North London are looking for a Health and Safety Officer to support schools in providing professional advice and support to ensure legal compliance, the prevention of occupational injury/ill health and to incorporate best practice into all aspects of service provision in relation to health, safety & wellbeing.
You will be asked to act as an internal consultant to advise and coach managers on their responsibilities for health and safety duties, providing guidance and practical solutions to ensure legal compliance and best practice in line with the Council's management system.
The successful person will be a Qualified Health and safety professional, preferable with CMIOSH and schools or local government experience. You will be offered an initial 3 months paying £30-£34PH LTD.
