Full Description

Osborne Richardson have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Interim Head of Estate Regeneration to join our client, a busy forward thinking Local Authority based in London. You will be responsible for overseeing the strategic development, design, management and implementation of a high profile, high quality and high value programme of regeneration. This programme will include the successful delivery of over 1,300 new homes together with various commercial and community facilities in the borough.

You will be responsible for setting clear objectives and ensuring that resources are available in order to drive the delivery of this ambitious strategic programme. The role will require you to work closely with external private and public sector partners to ensure that all projects are based on sound business cases and delivered on time and to budget. You will also work closely with teams across the Council (notably procurement, finance, legal and property) and with partner organisations.

To apply for this role it is absolutely essential you have worked on regeneration programmes of a similar nature within a local authority. Project management skills are absolutely essential and you will need excellent staff management skills as each project will have a team made up of staff from a diverse range of professional and technical disciplines. It is essential that you can work well under pressure and that you can communicate clearly with a wide range of stakeholders. Appropriate academic / professional qualifications are expected for a role at this level.
