Osborne Richardson have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Head of Economic Regeneration candidate to join our client, a Local Authority based in the East Midlands for a contract role. You will be responsible for driving forward our clients economic growth to ensure that development, investment and job creation happen and that all communities in the borough enjoy the benefits.
You will set clear objectives and ensure resources are available in order to drive the delivery of a number of ambitious strategic programmes our client is working on. You will also be responsible for delivering other smaller capital projects which fall under our clients programme portfolio.
Applicants for this position must have significant experience of economic development initiatives, strong experience of engaging local businesses and LEP's, of working with partner organisations and of project delivery. They must also have string experience of working on regeneration projects and be experienced with working within enterprise zones.
The role is based in the East Midlands and will pay negotiable depending on experience, this role is inside IR35. It has initially been released as a 3 month placement with the potential for an extension. Please get in touch for more information including a job spec.
