We currently have an excellent opportunity for a Planning Graduate to join a busy local authority in South West London and carry out a role within their Development Management Team. Your work will focus on supporting all procedures associated with the legal validation of the full range of applications falling in the "minor" and "other" categories, including checking fees and ensuring that all documents, certificates and plans are correctly supplied: all tasks to be carried out within agreed targets, using agreed procedures. The applications will consist of planning applications including shopfront, householder, crossover, advert and lawful development applications plus minor changes of use and conversions.
To apply you will need a relevant town planning degree, good communication skills and work experience within development management team in a local authority would be beneficial. Initially this will be a 3 month contract with an hourly rate of up to £15p/hr. A full job description is available.
