We will very soon be looking to commence a food inspection programme, which has been on hold since April, with a client in West Yorkshire. From now until year end (April 2021) we may be required to deliver as many as 2500 premises inspections for a range of different premises, risk rating B-E as well as new Unrated businesses.
To deliver this busy programme of work we will need a large team of Inspectors. We don't necessarily need full time commitment but if you want full time hours we can offer this given the volume of work. The programme is flexible as some premises need inspecting outside routine office hours so there is the option to work weekends and evenings if this suits and you can mange your own schedule so long as you are able to meet any agreed deadlines. We will simply allocate a batch of inspections based on your availability in a given period.
We need food competent Environmental Health / Technical Officers with recent experience carrying out food safety intervention work on behalf of local authorities. We will need evidence of your competency and qualifications.
You will focus on delivering the inspection, there will be no admin / data entry involved and any enforcement / closure work will be carried out by Officers from the Council so the work is very straight forward and an excellent way to supplement your income or manage your own schedule if you need flexibility in your work life.
We will pay between £30 and £65 per inspection depending on the category; these are Ltd / Umbrella pay rates. The work is outside IR35 for those wishing to work via a Ltd Co.
