We have recently commenced a food safety inspection project with a client in North East London and now need to add an additional Inspector in an effort to deliver the inspection programme for the rest of the financial year. The contract is actually for 2 years so you have an opportunity to secure work until March 2022 if it suits you.
Our client is currently operating under FSA guidance so you can expect the inspection to be part remote, part physical on site. A relevant risk assessment has been carried out and you will follow our client's guidance on inspection protocol; you will be supplied with PPE.
The focus will likely be on Unrated premises to start but the project itself covers a full range of categories B-E. Ideally we need someone who is able to inspect up to Cat B but we can also consider those who are only qualified to do low risk inspections.
In all instances you will conduct a hygiene and standards inspection (where applicable), complete an inspection report and establish and issue the Food Hygiene Rating Score. Paperwork will be handed back to the client to process in house.
We would ideally like someone who can commit until the end of March but if you only have limited availability we will consider this. The work programme is completely flexible and can fit around other work commitments you may have, we do not necessarily need full time hours, we can offer what ever works best for you. You will need to be able to get around the district easily so your own car would be an advantage.
The rates will be £54 for a Cat C, £46 for D and £40 for Cat E.
