We will shortly be looking to commence a food inspection project with a client in South Yorkshire. This work is part of a long term, ongoing contract which has been temporarily halted over the past few months. As a result we will have a lot of catching up to do so we are actively recruiting Inspectors to join this project and would be interested in anyone who has availability be it 1 day per week / evenings / weekends or whatever hours suits. The contract will run until the end of March 2021 but you do not necessarily need to commit for the full duration.
The work will primarily be focused on lower risk and compliant businesses but there is scope to cover a wider remit up to Cat B graded premises. We can expect to be operating under a slightly different approach given current circumstances to ensure safety and to ensure we are working in line with current FSA guidelines. You will be given a list of premises and a briefing from the client and you will be left to manage your own schedule.
The work is paid on a per inspection basis with rates ranging from £29 to £65 per inspection depending on their category. We anticipate having a list of up to 400 premises to be split amongst the inspection team.
If you would like to get involved we will need to see an up to date CV, your CPD record for the previous two years, copies of qualifications and your competency assessment document. There will not be a formal interview process as such and the client will make their decision based on your credentials.
