Our client has at least 500 inspections to deliver this year having been delayed during the past few months. The premises will be a mixture of Cat B-E plus some new Unrated businesses. Depending on the type of premises you will carry out either a food hygiene or a hygiene and standards inspection to include health and safety hazard spotting. You will complete an inspection report and hand back to the client for their staff to complete the data input task and admin.
The work will be paid on a per inspection basis and the programme can be totally flexible to fit around other work commitments you may have. The programme does involve some evening and weekend visits so it would be ideal if you were able to pick up some of these as part of your quota. We do not necessarily need you to commit for the full duration of the year and we are happy to offer small batches of inspections if you only have limited availability.
We need Food Safety Officers with experience carrying out hygiene and standards inspections. The bulk of the work will be C-E rated premises so we need those suitably qualified to inspect these categories. We will need evidence of your qualifications, your CPD record and a completed Competency Assessment (we can provide a template).
