We are currently in year 2 of a 4 year contract to deliver around 1700 food premises inspections per year. So far this year we have delivered around 1300 and will be fulfilling the remaining quota between now and the end of March 2020. The volume of work is sufficient to suit those seeking full time working hours or those simply looking for some short term work to help increase their income.
In order to be considered you will need to be food competent as defined by the FSA Code of Practice. We will need evidence of your qualifications, CPD record and a completed Competency Assessment (we can provide a template if needs be).
You will be required to carry out an inspection and complete a report using our client's standard report form. You will establish the risk rating and issue the FHRS. The vast majority of the inspections will be broadly compliant Cat C and Cat D premises; there will also be a number of new, Unrated businesses.
The work is outside IR35.
