We have just entered into year 2 of a 3 year food inspection contract with Birmingham City Council. In the next financial year we will be delivering in excess of 1300 food premises inspections. Given the volume of work we can offer a range of work patterns from full time to part time or simply a short term assignment based on a duration or number of inspections if you are simply looking to top up your income with some flexible working.
You will be required to complete a full detailed inspection, complete our client's report document template, ensuring you fully record details of non-compliances and observations on the form and leave a hand record of visit report on site. As part of the process you will be required to establish the Food Hygiene Rating Score and produce a letter template which will be used to notify the FBO of their food hygiene rating.
To apply for this role you will need to be able to demonstrate your food competency. You will need to be able to manage your own workload in line with our client's programme. As this is a consultancy contract inspections will be paid on a unit basis. The work is outside IR35 and pays £35 for Cat D and £37 for Cat C inspections.
