We have recently bid for a contract to deliver around 700 food premises inspections per year on behalf of a Local Authority in West Yorkshire.
We have worked with this particular client previously and under previous contracts have been required to deliver around 400 per year. Due to the increased workload, we will need to add additional resource to our inspection team should our bid be successful.
The work is straight forward in terms of spec with you simply being required to visit the premises, complete a full hygiene inspection and issue relevant risk ratings.
We are easily able to divide the total workload into smaller work packages for those with restricted availability. We will likely have somewhere in the region of 200-300 available and would probably only be asking for a minimum commitment of 50 inspections.
If you are interested in taking on some of this work you will need to provide evidence of your competency as defined by the FSA Code of Practice i.e. qualifications, CPD record, completed competency assessment and significant, recent experience carrying out inspections on behalf of a Local Authority.
We will pay per inspection and you can work Ltd Co if you wish or we pay via umbrella.
We will pay £45-£80 per inspection depending on the category.
