Like many London authorities, our client faces significant challenges in delivering suitable social housing solutions for those waiting on social housing allocation lists. In an effort to provide clear direction they have set up a new Council owned housing company to deliver their vision.
They are looking to strengthen their team through the appointment of an Executive Support Officer who will play a vital role in helping support this organisation in it's key start up phase. The role is a great opportunity and will be challenging at first as the organisation finds it's feet so we need someone with excellent planning, communication and organisation skills.
You will need to have a positive attitude towards getting stuck in and dealing with complex and challenging tasks. You will need excellent IT skills and previous experience in a business support role within a local authority / housing association environment.
The initial contract will run until the end of a March, the pay rate will be around £20-£22/hr (umbrella). Our client is based in Brixton.
