Our client, based in East London are looking to appoint an experienced Noise Officer. You will be responsible for responding to noise service requests, planning applications, and licensing act consultations in a defined geographical area. 75-80% of the work is noise service request, around 20% planning consultations, and a small amount licensing act work. You will be expected to manage the caseload for your area, meeting first response times for service requests, progressing investigations in a reasonable timescale and keeping complainants up to date. Planning and licensing act consultations also need to be responded to in specified timescales.
This role requires someone with a qualification within Noise, Acoustics being essential. You must have at least 3 years experience within this field.
The role is for 3 months and full time is a preference. The council are allowing contractors to be office based but also allow for working from home but being on site when needed. Rates will be from £35 per hour.
