Full Description
Our client, based in the East Midlands, is seeking an experienced Environmental Protection Officer to join their team on a part-time basis. This role offers 15 hours per week, with working days to be agreed, and an anticipated start date between mid-June and early July.
The successful candidate will have significant experience investigating statutory nuisance complaints and taking enforcement action where necessary. You will also be responsible for dealing with public health issues, including waste accumulations and potentially filthy and verminous properties, advising on licensing applications, investigating pest and rat infestations under the Prevention of Damage by Pests Act 1949, and utilising Community Protection Warnings (CPWs) and Community Protection Notices (CPNs).
