Full Description
Our client is looking for an Environmental Protection Officer who can take on work in relation to a number of EP areas, primarily focused on noise but also covering other aspects such as waste. They typically experience a peak in workload during summer and need additional resource to help manage their service requests.
In an ideal world they would also find someone who is food competent and can provide assistance in this area too but this is not essential.
We are looking for an established Environmental Health Practitioner with a particularly good knowledge of noise pollution as well as general pollution matters. You will have held roles like this before, working for a Local Authority, and you will be capable of managing your workload effectively, knowing how to prioritise tasks and you will be focused on delivering professional service.
The standard working week is 37hrs and this is an office based role. The initial contract will be 3 months and the rate will be £40-£45/hr (umbrella).
