Our client, based in Gloucestershire looking for an Environmental Protection Officer to assist with statutory nuisance, air quality monitoring, private water supply sampling/investigation and waste. You don’t need to be a fully qualified and registered EHO but you do need experience handling a local authority caseload in the previously mentions disciplines.
To be successful you will have a full Drivers License and if you have experience and competence with serving legal notices and formal enforcement it would be an advantage. Ability to use a case management system (Idox Uniform) to document and update your work electronically will also be an advantage.
If you are offered you role you will be available ASAP for approximately 3 to 4 months, ideally 5 days per week (they might consider someone with less availability e.g. 3 or 4 days per week and you could discuss which 5 days of the week they are). The team work Mon-Fri as core hours but they could be flexible with the successful applicant if it meets the needs of the business.
