Our client is looking to employ a contractor to work within the Environmental Protection Team. The contract will run initially from Feb - July 2021 and will require a 37 hour working week. They are looking for a start as early as next week.
The role will focus on dealing with a range of EP issues including stat nuisance, pests and drainage across both commercial and domestic settings. On a daily basis you will respond to pollution related enquires.
Other areas of work will include providing input on planning applications and (if suitably qualified) dealing with enviro permitting issues, mainly Part installations - petrol stations, dry cleaners and vehicle resprayers.
We are looking for applications from EHRB registered EHOs. You will need a detailed understanding and an up to date professional and technical knowledge of Environmental Protection legislation. Specifically you will need experience of dealing with complex noise investigations.
The role is based in the West Midlands and we expect to pay £35-£40/hr (umbrella).
