Our client, based in the East Midlands have a short-term 1FTE vacancy (at least three months and possibly more) on their environmental protection team that needs filling as soon as practicably possible to work through a backlog of worksheets. Most of the worksheets will be based around alleged nuisance cases, however the Officer may well be asked to engage in the wider aspects of environmental protection e.g. planning applications, contaminated land enquiries etc.
They are looking for an EHO or experienced Technical Officer, they use Northgate M3PP as their case management software, so a familiarity with that software would be preferred, but not essential but you must have experience doing this role and be able to walk in and start with little to no training.
You will be offered an initial 3 month contract with a likelihood of getting extended paying £30PH LTD.
