Our local authority client, based in Lancashire requires an experienced Environmental Health Officer/Public Health Officer. They are in need of an experienced officer to comment on the environmental health aspects of a planning application from fairly minor to very complex developments. They would need to be able to advice on contaminated land, air quality and noise issues.
This role requires someone who can hit the ground running; therefore it is absolutely essential that you have experience within this field, preferably in a local authority setting.
This role is for 3-5 days per week and the are open to flexible working and the possibility of working from home. The contract will run for an initial three month period whilst they look to recruit to perm. Rates are negotiable and the role will fall inside IR35.
