Environmental Health Technical Officer - Public Health

Our client, based in South Wales are looking to appoint an experienced Enviro Crime officer to undertake the following duties;
-Deal with general low level public health complaints - e.g. refuse in gardens, noxious matter, some drainage and pest related complaints - action can include the service of legal notices and arranging works in default
-Deal with fly-tipping - investigation, ACE interviews, putting together prosecution files - potentially being a witness at court.
-Potential for serviced fixed penalty notices for littering, dog control and smoking related offences if witnessed (rare at present)
-Dealing with abandoned vehicles including arranging removal and possible Dog Warden responsibilities.

Our client is happy to consider those with local authority enforcement experience but also EHO's who are looking to take on a contract that has the responsibilities of a Technical Officer's role.

They require someone who can start ASAP and the contract will run for 2-3 months. Rates are negotiable.
