Our local authority client, based in Kent are looking to appoint two experienced EH Housing Officers to work as part of a team in the provision of a comprehensive support service for the Private Sector Housing Team. To be responsible for the delivery of legally compliant documentation for officers and the public through the preparation and service of statutory notices and licences within HMO licensing schemes, housing enforcement and other support roles as required.
Our client is also looking to fill another position within their team, this role will focus on Energy Efficiency and will be very much enforcement based. Your day to day work will be within this remit and not regular Environmental health housing duties.
Please note, the two housing positions require experienced PSH officers and you must hold the HHSRS cert. For the Energy Efficiency role our client is willing to consider those who are not necessarily from a housing background. The prerequisite is having this particular experience.
The Housing Enforcement positions will run for an initial 3 months, starting in early and mid August. Rates will be from £35 Umbrella. The Energy Efficiency role will run for 6 months and the rates for this will be negotiable.
All three roles will require you to be on site and possibly office based but this would depend upon how busy the team gets.
