Our client, based in South East London are looking for an Environmental Health Team Manager to manage and support a team of Environmental Health Officers undertaking inspection and enforcement duties including those of a more complex nature. Interpret and draft reports; report and advice Chief Officers and Members etc. on environmental health and safety matters. You will be asked to Attend committees, working parties etc as well as giving evidence at legal proceedings and public enquiries.
To be successful it is crucial that you have experience as a Manager for another busy Local Authority as well as having knowledge and ability to apply and interpret the related areas of law (Environmental Protection, Noise, Nuisance and ASB).
If successful you will be offered initial 6 month contract paying £35-45PH LTD.
