Environmental Health Officer/Technical Officer - Pollution/Public Health

Our client, based in Cambridgeshire are look for an Environmental Protection Officer to work as a member of a team in ensuring the responsive and effective delivery of a high quality Environmental Health service to the community. They require someone who is extremely proficient in statuary nuisance, pollution and reactive noise work. As a member of the team you will be asked to initiate enforcement action, where necessary, relating to infringements of relevant legislation (Environmental Protection Act 1990).

Our client requires someone who can hit the ground running and as such, you will need a minimum of working 2+ years within this field for a local authority. It would be desirable if you are EHORB registered but not an essential requirement.

This is a full time post and will require someone who can commit to a minimum of three days in the office. This will be for an initial 3 months paying £28-£30H LTD.
