Environmental Health Officer/Technical Officer - Pollution/Public Health

Our client, based in East Sussex is looking to recruit a Senior Environmental Health Officer to the Environmental Protection Team. The Environmental Protection Team delivers a range of services that reflect the interesting and diverse character of the City. This includes an extensive industrial heritage, but also a City where new development and major projects are a key feature. For this reason you will require good experience and good technical and legislative knowledge of acoustics and noise investigations, contaminated land, private water supplies, integrated pollution and prevention control (IPPC) and other associated public health and nuisance investigation and enforcement work, including good experience of appraisal of planning applications and major projects. In order to apply it is essential that you have recent experience of working within this field in a local authority setting. You must hold the relevant required qualifications as well. Our client will not consider candidates who do not meet this requirement.

Rates are negotiable, please let us know what your expected rate would be along with an updated CV. This contract will start in August and is currently due to run until January 2019. This is a full time post working 37 hours per week.
