Environmental Health Officer/Technical Officer - Housing

Our client, based in West London is looking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced Private Sector Housing Officer. You will be expected to inspect and survey a wide range of private sector residential properties including owner-occupied homes, houses-in-multiple occupation, and empty properties and Bed & Breakfast accommodation. On a day to day basis you will encourage repair, improvement and adaptation of properties in the private sector by utilising a range of options including enforcement under the Housing Act and HMO licensing schemes.

For this role our client requires an experienced officer with at least 2 years within local authority. You must also hold the HHSRS Certificate.

The contract is currently running for three months and rates will be negotiable.
