Environmental Health Officer - Pollution/Public Health

Our client, based in Surrey has an excellent opportunity for those who are looking for long term contracts! They are looking to appoint an experienced Environmental Protection Officer with a specialism in statutory nuisance investigation, reviewing planning consultations and licensing consultations. You will be expected to investigate complex breaches of legislation and to prepare evidence and other material for the instigation of legal proceedings, including the service of statutory notices, and to give evidence in court, public enquiries and tribunals as appropriate.

This role requires you to have recent local authority experience. Our client is looking for someone who is a qualified Environmental Health Officer and is registered with the Environmental Health Registration Board. The contract will run for up to 12 months and rates will be between £27-£33. Higher rates will be offered to the more experienced/qualified EH contractor.
