Our client requires an Enviro Enforcement Officer to carry out pro-active enforcement work in conjunction with the Covid-19 regulations. You will carry out visits across the district to investigate potential breaches and you will issue Fixed Penalty Notices. The role will involve working outside of routine office hours.
We are looking for someone who has undertaken similar work previously either enforcing environmental or ASB legislation, maybe from a licensing background or possibly someone with a background in law enforcement work. This work would be very well suited to ex Police Officers. The key is the ability and willingness to undertake enforcement work as this can be quite challenging and you will need to be comfortable dealing with difficult situations.
The role is based in Oxford, will run for at lease the next 4-5 months and offer an excellent rate, up to £30/hr (umbrella).
