Our client is looking to recruit Enforcement Officers to carryout a range of work in connection with Covid-19 enforcement tasks. You will be responding to ad hoc service requests to investigate suspected breaches and you will also be involved with pro-active engagement work across the district.
The role would be well suited to those who have worked in a similar capacity for a local authority in areas such as envirocrime or licensing enforcement. You will need to be able to easily pick up on relevant legislation and be confident in your ability to enforce and confidently advise on current guidance. You can expect to be working with those in the business community as well as the general public so good communication skills are absolutely essential.
The role is based in West / South West London. Initially it will run for 4 months but we expect it will go on for some time, at least to the end of March 2021. The rate will be £20-£23/hr (umbrella).
