Excellent Opportunity 12 Month Contract
Our client, based in Bedfordshire are looking for someone to come in on a part time basis and provide comment on relevant planning applications on behalf of this Council's environmental health service as a statutory consultee. They need an Officer to deal with planning consultations with knowledge and experience in respect of the specific areas acoustics and noise control, and the general areas around odour control, air quality and contaminated land.
The successful candidate will have suitable experience and competence to determine such applications. Whilst the majority of applications are basic, there are frequently more complex issues, and therefore turnaround times will differ depending on the nature and complexity of an application. Timescales will be agreed on a case by case basis.
Ideally they are looking for someone who will be remote with some access to the authority and be able to visits site when needed. The successful candidate will be paid around £30PH Umbrella. They are looking for around 5 hours per week.
