Our client in East London is setting up a Covid Response team and requires 4 EHOs on a contract basis for at least 6 months. Work will be focused on ensuring businesses are Covid secure through a combination of pro-active and reactive inspection work. Where required you will carry out enforcement activity.
Given the nature of the work the ideal candidate will be an EHRB registered Environmental Health Officer with experience carrying out local authority intervention work. Any experience of carrying out H&S audits would be very useful. Alongside your technical knowledge, high level communication skills are essential and you must be confident dealing with businesses and working under quite challenging conditions.
The rate will be £33.42/hr. They may be open to part time workers, we would be happy to propose this. Please contact us for further details.
