Our local authority client in the North West is seeking to appoint an experienced Food Safety Practitioner to support their regulatory services team. The successful candidate will be required to complete approximately 80 C–E rated food hygiene inspections on a per-inspection basis, with all work to be completed before the end of March 2026.
To be considered for this role, applicants must be EHORB accredited or hold the Higher Certificate in Food. You will also need to demonstrate a minimum of 20 hours of CPD within the last two years and have a completed Food Standards Agency Competency Matrix available at the point of application. Proven experience carrying out food hygiene inspections in line with FSA standards is essential.
This position is offered on a per-unit basis, paying £68 per inspection. The role offers flexible working arrangements and the opportunity to work with a well-established local authority team. IR35 status is to be confirmed.
