Our client has a short term piece of work where they require suitably qualified Enviro Health Officers or Trading Standards Officers to carry out visits to approximately 30 businesses in the North West.
The work is in connection with new legislation requirements effective from 1st October in respect of Pre-packed for direct sale (PPDS) food products. They need visits carrying out to premises to advise them of the changes and to provide specific guidance as to what measures the businesses need to take to ensure compliance.
Ideally you will have your own vehicle for business purposes but the area is well connected by public transport if not.
We are not necessarily looking for 1 person to work full time and there is scope to split the workload. Each visit is expected to last 1-3 hours depending on the size and nature of the business.
