Our client, based in Somerset, are looking for an Environmental Protection Officer to work on all aspects of environmental regulation, so you must have a broad knowledge of environmental health law and practice, it is also important you understanding the regulation and enforcement of statutory nuisance and anti-social behaviour. This work can be either contracting or on a permanent basis therefore please get in touch for details about the permanent work if you are interested in that too.
The work will involve responding to service requests for Statuary Nuisance such as Noise, Drainage, Odour etc, to be successful you do not have to be EHRB registered however you must be good officer & suitably capable of doing the work with only minimal initial hand-holding.
If you are successful you will be offered an initial 3-6 month contact paying £35PH Umbrella. There is home/remote working for this role however you will need to have access to the district.
