Our client, based in the North West, have a vacancy in their Neighbourhoods Enforcement Team and are looking for a temporary back fill of an Environmental Health Officer in this section. The team deals with Statutory Nuisance, Fly tipping and Accumulations, Environmental Crime, Filthy and Verminous Properties, unauthorised traveller encampments, and planning consultation).
To be successful in the role is it is very important that you have experience doing this role, for another Council for at least 2 years, they are aware this is a broad role so more experience of the above tasks, the better the chance you will be successful but not all are essential.
Any successful applicant will be expected to go on to the district to undertake site visits, assessments and enforcement work and will be able to use printing facilities to produce and post from the office in the Town Centre, apart from this you will be based at home.
If offered the role you will receive a 5-6 month contract paying £35-£38PH LTD.
