Our client, based in Essex are looking to employ a consultant to handle the Environmental Health related aspects of the below planning proposal, which would include (but not be restricted to) Air Quality, Noise and Lighting. The EH service does not currently have the capacity to deal with this inhouse so they are looking for a temporary consultant to assist.
The likely consultation start date is likely to be early April (TBC) so they would need to engage a consultant in good time for this.
They would be seeking a consultant experienced in this type of work, who could take the reins and hit the ground running - to include any document reviews / assessments, attendance at pre-application meetings, liaison with the parties involved as needed and whatever else will be required as part of the process - ensuing a minimal impact on the officer resource of the EH Service. They are looking for someone with the acoustic diploma or other related qualification.
The contract will be £35PH LTD and the initial contract will be for 3 months.
