Our client, based in Hertfordshire are looking to appoint an experienced Environmental Control Officer. You will be expected to carry out, or supervise contractors, in environmental sampling, surveys and assessments in relation to air, water, soil, noise and other media. To ensure that appropriate scientific techniques and best practice are used.
Our client requires someone who is proficient in Air Quality and Contaminated Land. Without this experience they will not consider any applicants. It would be desirable that you also have experience in working for a local authority.
As mentioned, this contract will run for 6 months. It is a full time post, 36 hours per week but you will be working from home and be able to do site visits when required. If you cannot commit to the 36 hours our client will still be willing to consider you. The pay rate will start from £35 per hour and will be inside IR35.
