Our client, based in South Wales are looking to appoint an experienced Environmental Protection Officers with a specialism in statutory nuisance investigation, reviewing planning consultations and licensing consultations. You will be expected to investigate complex breaches of legislation and to prepare evidence and other material for the instigation of legal proceedings, including the service of statutory notices, and to give evidence in court, public enquiries and tribunals as appropriate.
This role requires you to have recent local authority experience. The 18 hours a week contract will run for an initial three month period and rates will be between £27-£30. Higher rates will be offered to the more experienced/qualified EH contractor.
