Our client, based in Bedfordshire have funding from grant received from dept. of levelling up, housing and communities to get someone in to undertake mandatory work regarding fire safety and remediation of unsafe cladding on high rise private sector residential buildings.
To lead on and provide expertise to the Council in respect of fire safety as regards combustible cladding and other fire safety issues in high-rise residential buildings. To provide professional advice, in line with appropriate competencies, to local stakeholders and other directorate service areas. To protect and improve the health, safety and well-being of consumers, residents and workers within the Borough at work, at home and at leisure
The successful candidate will have local authority experience within this exact sector and have a strong track record of dealing with fire safety issues in high-rise residential buildings. Experience in dealing with enforcement regarding high rise buildings & cladding is essential.
If successful you will be offered £70 PH Umbrella. Please note that this is not your standard hourly role, the client has stated this is a “as and when required” role depending on the number of buildings they have in the borough that need an intervention and how much work is involved.
